Teacher Coaching
Teach the teacher. For schools that are either opening for the first time, reinventing, or re-evaluating their pedagogy, Counter Current can help prepare your new and experienced educators with the practical skills they may need to effectively manage their class. With a targeted focus on disadvantaged youth, we will develop intense workshops aimed to connect what new teachers learned during their collegiate education to the often daunting realities of REAL classroom management. And for the experienced teacher, we will help them analyze and reflect upon their experiences to bring to life a more organic pedagogical approach and/or enhance their overall instructional methodology.
University Programs
Preserve knowledge discourse. As members of the academic community, we appreciate maintaining academic freedom on college campuses. Yet, the academe also involves linking the student experience with other forms of scholarship, such as student affairs programming. As guest speakers or workshop instructors, our scholars are available to contribute to your events.
University Projects
Academics and administration. Counter Current consultants are experienced in university work ranging from: academic lecturing, academic technology, admissions and recruitment, grant writing, operations, multicultural diversity, project management, senior management, student affairs, and student retention.
